What is Tresiba?

Tresiba is a long-acting insulin that’s injected once daily and helps to regulate blood sugar levels in adults and children with Diabetes (age 1 and older). Tresiba’s active ingredient is insulin degludec, and it’s available in two concentrations: 100U/mL and 200 U/mL. The Tresiba FlexTouch pen is the only injectable pen for long-lasting insulin that can deliver up to 160 units in one injection.

How long does Tresiba take to begin working?

Tresiba works evenly in the body for 24 hours but can last as long as 42 hours.
